Circles of Ownership

$2.50

Circles of Ownership helps clients understand the difference between what is theirs to carry, what is shared, and what belongs to others. This tool is especially helpful for individuals who struggle with over-responsibility, people-pleasing, or feeling the need to fix everything they notice.

How It Works:
Clients sort experiences, thoughts, and situations into three categories: Mine, Shared, and Theirs. They reflect on what they are truly responsible for versus what they can observe without acting on. A guided pause process helps clients decide whether to engage or step back, reinforcing intentional action instead of automatic reaction.

Therapeutic Focus:

  • Building healthy emotional and relational boundaries

  • Reducing over-responsibility and reactivity

  • Increasing awareness of roles and personal limits

  • Strengthening pause-and-decide skills

This worksheet reinforces the idea that noticing something does not require action—helping clients protect their energy, respect boundaries, and respond with intention.
